Hand beaded, one of a kind brooch of an Inkcap mushroom.
Sometimes called a 'fairy inkcap' or a 'shaggy inkcap' these curious fungi are incredibly delicate and almost dissolve into a black inky liquid when mature. Not this one though!
The mixed texture of the beads and the subtle gleam give this brooch shaggy like texture; the glossy black and iridescent black beads allude to the gooey, drippy, ink like edges of a maturing mushroom.
